Get ahead with confidence-building sessions before your baby arrives. We'll discuss what to expect, positioning techniques, early feeding cues, and creating a supportive environment. Perfect for first-time parents or those who've faced challenges previously.
Comprehensive assessments available both in-person and online to suit your comfort and circumstances. I'll observe a full feeding session, assess your baby's latch and positioning, review your feeding history, and create a personalised care plan together.
Continued support as your situation evolves. These sessions allow us to monitor progress, adjust strategies, address new concerns, and celebrate your successes. Flexible scheduling ensures you have support when you need it most.
Targeted help for specific concerns including painful latching, low milk supply, oversupply management, expressing and pumping guidance, bottle introduction, and feeding refusal. No challenge is too small or too complex.
If indicated, oral assessment and support for tongue-tie concerns. I'll help you understand the impact, explore feeding strategies, connect you with appropriate specialists if needed, and support you through any treatment and recovery process.
Combination feeding, exclusive formula feeding and transitioning support provided without judgement. I believe all feeding choices deserve expert guidance, whether you're supplementing, weaning, or choosing formula from the start.

Feeding difficulties are incredibly common, yet they can feel isolating and overwhelming. You're not alone, and most challenges have practical solutions. Here are some of the issues I regularly help families navigate with compassion and expertise.
Premature babies, multiples, medical conditions, or anatomical variations

Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) occurs when the tissue connecting the tongue to the floor of the mouth is too tight or short, potentially restricting tongue movement. This can affect feeding, though not all tongue-ties cause problems.
I'll assess whether a tongue-tie could be impacting feeding, demonstrate positions and techniques that may improve the situation, signpost to local tongue tie practitioners, and support you through decision-making and any procedures.
